I love a good snack.  Snacks are life, pretty much.  Unfortunately, it’s all too easy to grab a bag of chips or something equally as junky and shove it in my face when I’m feeling a tiny bit famished.   But there are so many amazing healthy recipes out there for snacks that I am determined to be better!  With a little prep and foresight your snacks can be just as nourishing and healthy as a great meal.  Today I’ve rounded up 20 healthy recipes that I want to try this year for after school, post-workouts, and on-the-go snacks to keep my family’s energy up all day long.  If you are wanting to do the same, take a look at the recipes below!  Click on the link below each image to take you to the full healthy recipe.  We can do this!

Nutella and banana sushi

These delicious Nutella and banana fruity snacks are so easy you can prepare them for the after-school rush in five minutes. They also look cute on party platters.

  • 2 tortillas
  • 4 tbsp Nutella
  • 2 bananas

method

1. Place bread on a cutting board and spread with Nutella.

2. Peel banana and lay in on the edge of the tortilla.

3. Roll banana in tortilla.

4. Slice into rounds and arrange on a plate with the cut edge facing up.
